TELLER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

1. Receives share deposits, loan payments, disburses cash or check and share withdrawals, processes transfers, cash advances, travelers’ checks, cashier’s checks money orders, wires, savings bonds and gift cards.

2. Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions.

3. Receives and directs members and phone calls.

4. Actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services to promote a complete member relationship.

5. Provides access to safe deposit box and maintains accurate records.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills.

Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.

Solid math skills.

Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting and dispensing machines, and telephone.

Good typing skills.

Willingness to help others.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
